RTS Smart Camera Station
The RTS Smart Camera Station is an advanced network based video management software application that is designed to connect to multiple IVA devices at a single location or across multiple sites. Each IVA can be connected to 16 video cameras (based on model) which enables each RTS Smart Camera Station to manage and monitor over 100 video cameras.
A key advantage of the RTS Smart Camera Station is that multiple installations of the software can communicate over a network to monitor the same IVA devices and therefore the same cameras. This feature dramatically reduces costs and hardware infrastructure normally associated with the implementation of multiple monitoring stations.
The RTS Smart Camera Station is the main user interface for the video surveillance system and boasts many features. The key features of the RTS Smart Camera Station are listed below:
* View live video (1 to 16 images per screen)
* Multiple monitoring stations
* Configuration of video camera security profiles
* Management of video analytics applications (See IVS products)
* Real-time alarm and event notifications
* Video data management, archiving and summarizing
* PTZ camera controls (software/keyboard/joystick)
Two optional features are also available with the RTS Smart Camera Station
* Web Video Service – Enables the distribution and viewing of video, system events and alarms to computers connected to the internet and mobile networks. Capabilities include:
* Secure log-in from remote/internet based computers
* View video, alarms and alerts via web browser
* Receive alarms and alerts via email
* Mobile Video Service – View live video, alarms and events on a PDA (Running Windows Mobile) over a wireless network. Capabilities include:
* Camera selection for live video access
* User registration with RTS Smart Camera Station
* Receive / acknowledge alarms
